The All Saints Church at St Helens is an Anglican parish church belonging to the Diocese of Liverpool. It was built between 1891 and 1893.

The All Saints Church at Sutton is built near the centre of the village.

The present church is from about 1400 but there is ample evidence of an earlier 12th century Norman church. The outward appearance is perpendicular but inside is something unique to English parish churches. Described by Nicholas Pevsner as ‘one of the architectural sensations of Cumberland'.

All Souls was completed in 1880 as a memorial to Walter Farquhar Hook, the Vicar of Leeds who was responsible and famous for the growth of Anglicanism in the city. George Gilbert Scott, perhaps the greatest ecclesiastical architect of the time, designed All Souls on a grand scale, having in mind the nave of one of the great Yorkshire abbeys. He died two days after completing his plans, his design being then carried out by his son, John Oldrid Scott.

All Souls Church, Eastbourne is known to be the only church in Sussex which displays a free standing Campanile or bell tower.

Ardboe Monastery is an ancient monastery founded in 590 by Saint Colman. In the 16th century, the old church built by St. Colman gave way to the present church (in ruins). The entire monastery was destroyed by fire in the 20th century. One of the main remains of the former monastery is the High Cross, the first one built in Ulster. There are a total of twenty-two panels of Old and New Testament scenes on all four sides of the cross.

The Ashkenazi Synagogue in Plymouth was completed in 1762 and restored in 2002. This brick building in the Victorian style still serves as a synagogue.

A very fine Grade I listed church built around 1370 in water meadows, it was originally moated.

The modest sized Grade II* church of the Assumption is at least 12th century in origin.
