The fortified church in Apoldu de Sus was erected after the demolition of the old Romanesque basilica preceding it. A church hall was built in 1836 and completed with a tower in 1867. The interior is a nice example of a neoclassical church, where the altar from 1751 and the organ from 1816 are still preserved, both of them originating from the old basilica. Only ruins of the old fortifications still remain. Nevertheless, one can notice the well-preserved structure of the traditional village, with narrow walk paths and typical farms on both sides of the main road.

The Ar-Rahma Mosque was built between 1996 and 2011 for the Muslim community in Kyiv. In 1897, according to official data, 1759 Muslims lived in Kyiv. On 3 October 1897, by decision of the city administration, a house of prayer was opened in a house, a two-storey wooden building which has not survived to the present day. On 29 October 1913, Governor Mikhail Sukovkin laid the foundation stone of the first stone mosque in Gogolivska Street. However, the mosque was not built during the First World War, then during the October Revolution, and later the construction was hampered by the Second World War.

The Arablar Mosque is a former small church which is now used as a mosque. This small church or chapel is an excellent example of the style of art and mixture of architectural elements that seem to have prevailed in Cyprus during the Venetian occupation. When the temple was converted into a mosque, the doors to the west and south were closed and a veranda was built on the northeast side. A small, simple minaret was also built in the northeast corner.

Åram church is a long church from 1927. An extension with a toilet was added in front of the main entrance in 1964. In 1987, the building was insulated when a new exterior cladding was added. At the same time, the windows were replaced and the floor was insulated.

Arapovski Monastery was the only one founded in the mid-19th century in the region during the Ottoman occupation. The main church “St. Nedelya” was built in 1859. More than 150 scenes are painted in the frescoes of the church. Besides the traditional evangelic scenes, here we discover unique scenes depicting the life of the monastery’s patron, St. Nedelya, as well as John the Baptist and St. Paraskeva.

Mention of the Araslöv church appears in letters dating back to the 13th century, the supposed century of its construction. The church is made of bricks and is probably inspired by the monasteries of Åhus and Bäckaskog. The church has been abandoned since the 17th century.

This Ottoman minaret standing alone in the city centre of Prizren is the only remnant of the historic Arasta Mosque, built between 1526 and 1538. The rest of the mosque was demolished in the 1960s, as part of a renovation plan of the city centre. The minaret was renovated in 2007.

The church with the patron Saint John the Baptist's Beheading from the village of Arbore is the foundation of the noble Luca Arbore, from 1503, during Stephen the Great ruling. The exterior paintings were made in 1541, on a green background. Here the painters used 5 shadows and 47 nuances, in combination with red, blue, yellow, pink and ochre. The recipe of the colours used for the frscoes is still unknown, the secret of the vegetal colours and of their combinations was buried with the Moldavian painters.

The Arch Cathedral of Christ the King was built between 1927 and 1955, the construction having been interrupted during the war. The classical building was designed by architects Zygmunt Gawlik and Franciszek Mączyński. Completed with the church in 1947, the dome was lowered around 1954 at the request of the provincial authorities of the People's Republic of Poland.
