The Arnøy church, on the island of Arnøya, is a wooden church dating from 1978. The architect of the church is Harry Gangvik.

Åros Church is a wooden church built in 1903 and designed by the architect Alfred Christian Dahl. Between 1963 and 1965, the church was renovated.

The present cathedral is the former abbey church of the abbey of Saint-Vaast (whose origins date back to the 7th century). In the Middle Ages, Arras was the largest and richest city of Artois. It was built in the 18th century as the abbey church of Saint-Vaast Abbey and became a cathedral in 1848, replacing the old cathedral Notre-Dame-en-Cité d'Arras, the great Gothic cathedral in the west of the old town that had been destroyed during the French Revolution.

Built in the late 19th century in the Neo-Gothic style, Arrie Church houses a 15th-century wooden sculpture probably made in the Low Countries. The exterior is richly articulated with i.a. crow-stepped gables, mouldings and blind arches.

The Årstad church is a single-nave church dating from 1890. The architect of the church is C.Christie. It is built of gneiss with portals and window frames of soapstone.

The church of Ås is a monumental Romanesque church in the shape of a cross with a powerful central tower. It was built in 1921 in grey stone and plastered brick according to the plans of the architect Henry Bucher. The pulpit dates from 1683, the baptismal font from 1775.

The Ås church is a typical long neo-gothic church from 1867, built in unpainted brick according to the plans of the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. It has lower and narrower choirs in the east and an octagonal tower above the porch in the west.

The church in Asak is a long church from 1893. The building is made of brick in the simple neo-gothic style. The altarpiece used to be in Oslo Cathedral where it was part of the neo-gothic reconstruction by Alexis de Chateauneuf from 1848 to 1850. The organ is from 1927.

St. Johann Nepomuk Church or "Asamkirche" was built from 1733 to 1746 by the Asam brothers (Cosmas Damian Asam and Egid Quirin Asam). It is a flamboyant example of late German Baroque.

The Åsane church is a 1993 church designed by Trygve Dyngeland. It replaces an old church dating from 1795 which was destroyed by arson by Varg Vikernes in 1992. The new church is made of brick and has been given a circular shape inspired by the Monte Celio in Rome.
