The Ask church was consecrated in 1908 and restored in 1954-55. The first attempt to build a new church on Ask failed in 1872 as the town council did not agree with the idea, but in 1903 a committee was appointed to find land, plans, financing and permits. The designs chosen to build the church later were an improved version of Sandeid's church in Ryfylke.

The Ask Chapel was built in 1936-37 and designed by the architect L. W. Wilhelmsen. The woodcarvings were made by the famous visual artist Ståle Kyllingstad (1903-1987).

The church in Asker is a typical long neo-Gothic church made of red bricks. It was built in 1879 by the builder Kepler and the mason Arnesen according to the drawings of the architect J. W. Nordan. On the same site, there was a stone church in the Middle Ages. The interior is characterised by the renovation in 1930 when a large part of the old one was replaced.

As early as 1990, Askers Baptist Church's involvement in Latvia began. After Latvia's liberation from the then Soviet Union, an ecumenical group was formed in Osternurke where Askers Bf was represented by the Mission Council. Other parishes were the Church of Sweden in Asker and Lunnus, Lunnus Free Church, Betania parish Odensbacken and Kilsmo mission parish. One of the first contacts made in Latvia was with Pastor Janis Pallo. This collaboration has continued over the years and we still have close contact with Pastor Janis and his wife Zigrida.

Askim Church is a wooden cruciform church dating back to 1878. Its predecessor was a Romanesque stone church from the Middle Ages. It was probably built around 1200 and is first mentioned in written sources in 1336. The present church was built in 1877-78 as a cruciform log church, based on a somewhat modified model of the Båstad church, which was designed by Christian H. Grosch.

Askje Church is a long church dating back to 1846. The wooden church received its first organ in 1906. The organist was Nicolai Dirdal, nine years old, who was the youngest organist in the country.

Askvoll church is a long church from 1863. The architect of the church was the artist Anders Askevold. He also painted the altarpiece depicting Jesus praying in Gethsemane. The altarpiece was originally painted for the previous church and was saved during the fire of 1862.
