Aslan Pasha Mosque, probably built in the first half of the 17th century, is a mosque at the edge of lake Ioannina. The mosque was part of the Aslan Pasha complex, which included a medrese (Islamic school) a library and a kitchen. It currently houses the Municipal Ethnographic Museum of Ioannina.

Åsmarka Church is a wooden church from 1859, designed by the architect J.W. Nordan. However, the church was given a new porch and new windows and doors in 1960. The church is clad with exterior and interior panels. The interior is characterized by alterations made in 1960-61, but the altarpiece and baptismal font date from 1901.

The Åsnes church from 1744 is a cross-shaped church. In 1876 it was erected and rebuilt in the neo-gothic style by the builder Schüssler according to the drawings of the architect J. W. Nordan. The church is an example of the many 18th century cross-shaped churches in Hedmark which were modernized in the second half of the 19th century. In the church of Åsnes most of the old furniture disappeared during the reconstruction.

Åsnes Finnskog Church, completed in 1861, was built according to the plans of J.W. Nordan. The present church was strongly affected by the major changes that took place in 1910 or 1912. Then the church was added a choir with sacristies on both sides, towers above the original porch, and new exterior and interior window panels. The interior is also marked by the restoration in 1910-12, when the interior was rebuilt and the church received new furniture.

The Cathedral of Assisi or Saint-Rufin Cathedral was built between 1140 and 1571. This place of worship in Romanesque and Baroque style is particularly imposing for the small medieval town of Assisi. It is dedicated to Saint Rufin (the first bishop of the city and a martyr in the 2nd century), whose relics are venerated in a sarcophagus under the high altar.

The Assumption Cathedral is the Apostolic Orthodox Cathedral of Tartu. The church, completed in 1753, was destroyed by a major fire in 1775 and was therefore rebuilt in 1783. The architect and designer of the church was P. Spekle. The church was originally painted light green, then ochre yellow and finally bleached. In the 19th century, the church was extended: new parts of the building were built between the cross branches and the church became square.
