The Agios Georgios church is located approx. 700 m southeast of the old port. The construction of the church was completed in 1924. On the day of visit all doors were locked. According to Ioannis G. Kassinis, who visited the church in 2003, the iconostasis with its icons and the rest of the church furnishings remained intact. Still in active use.
