The Church of Our Lady of the Snows is the largest Marian shrine in Serbia. According to legend, on the site of the present church there was a medieval Christian place of worship dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which was demolished by the Turks in 1526, who built a mosque in its place. In 1716, with the battle of Petrovaradin, the Habsburg forces inflicted a major defeat on the Ottomans. The Church of Our Lady of the Snows was then built on the site of the battle to celebrate this victory attributed to the Virgin Mary. The present neo-gothic church was built in 1881 according to the design of the Zagreb architect Herman Bole.

The Church of Our Lady of the Snows was founded in 1347 by Emperor Charles IV as part of a monastery and as a future coronation temple. In the 15th century, the construction was interrupted by the Hussite wars. The church was only completed in 1625.

The Church of Our Lady of Trondheim is a long stone church dating from around 1200. The church was rebuilt after fires in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Among other things, the nave was enlarged in 1686 and the present tower was built in 1742. The choir and the eastern part of the nave are remains of the original building.

The Church of Our Lady is located in a rural area. The current church was built between 1619 and 1635 on the remains of a 12th-century church. This church was linked to The Priory of the Order of H. Augustine which was founded in 1182. The church's roofs, facades, stained glass windows, vaults and interior were restored in 2013-2014. In 2023 the restoration of interior elements started.

The church Notre-Dame, in German "Liebfrauenkirche", is the oldest parish of Bremen whose current church dates back to the 13th century. During the Second World War, the spire of the tower burned and the nave suffered only minor damage. But with the remodeling of the interior, interesting remains of medieval paintings have been lost.

The Church of Our Lady has been the cathedral of Copenhagen since 1922. Churches have been erected on this site since the twelth century, but have been burned three times, most recently in 1807. The current building was built at the beginning. nineteenth century in neoclassical style. Since the fourteenth century, and still to this day, the church is a royal event venue.

The church dates from the 13th century and has a very complex history of construction. During the 14th century, the previous Romanesque church was replaced by a gothic building in the form of a Latin cross. In the centuries that followed, new elements were added to the church and the building has been restored multiples times. In 1911, they built a wooden spire on top of the church tower. Sadly, the spire was torn down by a storm in 1940 and has never been replaced.
