Høre church is a wooden church, first built in 1179. In the 19th century, the church was considerably rebuilt and given a new choir and an enlarged nave. The original construction of the nave, dating from the 12th century, has been preserved as a skeleton within the cladding. The moat structures of the nave show the original size of the church hall.

Høvåg Church is a medieval church dating from 1150. The congregation bought the church from King Frederick IV (1671-1730) in 1723, when he experienced financial difficulties after the Great Nordic War. Work on the extension, maintenance and renovation of the church then began. The west wing was built in 1768, the north wing, which is the present main entrance, was built in 1828. The tower was built in 1831.

Høvik Church is a cruciform church built between 1895 and 1898 and designed by the architect Henrik Nissen. The church is made of unpainted red brick, with some black glazed brick detailing and lime plastered surfaces. The church is built in the English Gothic Revival style.

The church in Høydalsmo is a wooden church dating from 1747. Restoration of the church was carried out by Auver Auversson Flatland in 1873, during which the pulpit and altarpiece were made.

The Høyforsmoen chapel dates from 1960. It was designed by Andreas W. Nygaard and was built on a voluntary basis. Behind the altar is a simple wooden cross against a shallow, arched niche, painted in shades of sky blue. The cross was designed by Hans Rasch.

The church is probably from the 13th century and is one of the largest stave churches. In 1948-53 major modifications were made and the church was then given the design it has today. The new exterior of the church is based on assumptions and interpretations of what the church might have looked like in the early post-Reformation period. The nave contains remnants of painted medieval decorations, while the choir decorations were mainly rebuilt by Finn Kraft in 1959-64.

Høyland Church is a large wooden church that was inaugurated in 1841. The church was designed by the engineer Arild Sibbern on the basis of Linstow's drawings. The interior is characterized by the Empire style, with galleries around the whole church on both sides of the choir, just interrupted by the pulpit. The altarpiece from the 1600s has been rebuilt with classical details and a large cross flanked by curved volutes.

Høylandet church is a long church from 1860. An older stave church at Romstad (Høylandet churchyard) is mentioned in 1543. In 1672 a new church was built. The Høyland tapestry from the last 12th century originates from Høylandet church at Romstad.
