The church in Høydalsmo is a wooden church dating from 1747. Restoration of the church was carried out by Auver Auversson Flatland in 1873, during which the pulpit and altarpiece were made.

The Høyforsmoen chapel dates from 1960. It was designed by Andreas W. Nygaard and was built on a voluntary basis. Behind the altar is a simple wooden cross against a shallow, arched niche, painted in shades of sky blue. The cross was designed by Hans Rasch.

The church is probably from the 13th century and is one of the largest stave churches. In 1948-53 major modifications were made and the church was then given the design it has today. The new exterior of the church is based on assumptions and interpretations of what the church might have looked like in the early post-Reformation period. The nave contains remnants of painted medieval decorations, while the choir decorations were mainly rebuilt by Finn Kraft in 1959-64.

Høyland Church is a large wooden church that was inaugurated in 1841. The church was designed by the engineer Arild Sibbern on the basis of Linstow's drawings. The interior is characterized by the Empire style, with galleries around the whole church on both sides of the choir, just interrupted by the pulpit. The altarpiece from the 1600s has been rebuilt with classical details and a large cross flanked by curved volutes.

Høylandet church is a long church from 1860. An older stave church at Romstad (Høylandet churchyard) is mentioned in 1543. In 1672 a new church was built. The Høyland tapestry from the last 12th century originates from Høylandet church at Romstad.

The Ibestad church was consecrated in 1881. Originally, only a new, larger nave was to be built for the old medieval church on the site, but the choir and sacristy, which dated from the 1770s, were too poor to be restored, so the church was demolished. Most of the stones on the walls of the new church probably came from the old medieval church. The interior is characterized by neo-gothic style.

Ibiza Cathedral was built in the 13th century on the foundations of the old Yebisah Mosque, in the Catalan Gothic style. In the 17th century, its interior was completely redesigned in Baroque style. It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Our Lady of the Snows, the patron saint of Ibiza.

The Ibn Rushd Goethe Mosque is a mosque opened in 2017 in an outbuilding of the Protestant Church of St. John in the Mitte district. The mosque owes its originality to the liberality of Islam preached there. Among the founders of the mosque are activists such as Seyran Ateş (women's rights activist), Saïda Keller-Messahli (human rights activist), Elham Manea (political scientist).

Initiated by order of Ibrahim Pasha (hence the name of the mosque) - Grand Vizier of Sultan Suleiman I the Magnificent, construction was stopped in 1536 after the death of the Vizier and was completed only in 1616 by Mahmoud Pasha. The horizontal forces from the dome are absorbed by four buttress corner towers and the pilasters along the cylindrical vestibule. The minaret is made of cut stone with plaster ornaments under the window. The interior of the mosque bears original frescoes.
