The Fatih Mosque, also known as the Small Mosque or Old Mosque, was built between 1502 and 1503 and was named after the conqueror of Constantinople, Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror. The mosque is said to have been built on the ruins of a basilica, some brick walls of which are still visible.

The Bazaar Mosque is an Ottoman mosque built in 1533 and 1534. It was closed by the communist government of Enver Hoxha in 1967 and its minaret collapsed. After the loss of power by the communist regime in 1991, the mosque was reopened for worship. In 1994, a balcony of the minaret, larger than that of the Ottoman period, was rebuilt.

After being destroyed in 1831, the mosque was rebuilt during the reign of Sultan Mahmoud II (1808-1839). Used for worship until 1937, the mosque has since fallen into disrepair and is now in ruins.

This Ottoman minaret standing alone in the city centre of Prizren is the only remnant of the historic Arasta Mosque, built between 1526 and 1538. The rest of the mosque was demolished in the 1960s, as part of a renovation plan of the city centre. The minaret was renovated in 2007.
