The completion of the mosque building, the space of the cultural centre, its furnishing and equipment, during the period 2013 and 2014, were entirely financed by the funds provided by the Turkish government's development agency.

The Lami Mosque, also known as the New Mahalla Mosque, was built in 1689 by Haxhi Alija. In the catastrophic earthquake of 1979, the mosque was completely destroyed and did not function for several years. However, thanks to the activity of the Islamic community and the citizens of the city of Ulcinj, the mosque could be rebuilt on the same foundations with a magnificent minaret.

The Namazgjah Mosque is the main mosque in Ulcinj. It was erected in 1728 with a minaret, a madrasah (now destroyed). In 2011, a restoration of the mosque's facade has been started.

The Kryepazari Mosque is one of the six mosques in the city of Ulcinj. It was built in 1749 by Nuradin Begu. After the 1979 earthquake, the mosque suffered great damage and it was not until 1995 that its reconstruction was completed.

The Pasha Mosque was built in 1719 by the citizens of Ulcinj, in honour of an admiral from Istanbul, using goods taken from Venetian ships during an attack by the Republic of Venice on Ulcinj. The mosque is built in the Ottoman architectural style and has a minaret which, together with that of the Namazgjah Mosque, is the only minaret preserved in the city. The hammam of this mosque is the only one of its kind in Montenegro. It was built in 1743 as a rectangle, with a central dome surrounded by several smaller domes.

The Bregu mosque was built by a local captain, Ahmet Gjyl, in 1783. Like the mosque, the minaret is reminiscent of 18th century Ottoman architecture. During the earthquake of 1979, it suffered extensive damage and it was not until 1986 that its restoration was completed.

This mosque was originally built in the 14th century, prior to Ottoman occupation, in order for Muslim sea traders to have a place to pray. In the 18th century, to give thanks to god for his survival of the battle of Krusi and to thank the sailors for their work for his family, Ibrahim Pasha of Scutari had the mosque rebuilt and renamed the "Sailor's Mosque". The current mosque was reconstructed in 2012 by private investors after the original mosque was destroyed in 1931 when Montenegro became part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

It is a mosque in the historic neighborhood of Parruca in Shkodra. The new mosque was built in 1937 on the remains of a old mosque with no special style or any artistic ornament. It was then destroyed by the end of 1967 as a result of the communist anti-religious campaign. In 2017 the rebuilt mosque was inaugurated.
