Fole Church

Fole Church is one of the 92 medieval churches on the island of Gotland.

About this building

The tower is the only part that remains from the original church built in the early 13th century, while the rest of the building was reconstructed in the late 13th century. The stone choir portal of the earlier church was later reused as the portal of the sacristy.

The church preserves a rood cross and baptismal font from the 13th century.
