Franciscan Church, Veszprém

The Franciscan church in Veszprem is an 18th-century building standing in Trinity Square of Veszprem, very close to Saint Michael's Cathedral.

About this building

The church was founded by the Franciscan monks in 1730. The interior features from its foundation have been preserved to the present day, including paintings on the vault. The façade was rebuilt in 1909 after a fire. The old Franciscan monastery standing next to the church is the Archbishop’s Palace today.
