Freising Cathedral

St. Mary's Cathedral, commonly known as Freising Cathedral, is a Romanesque basilica completed in the 13th century. The Rococo style interior decoration was added in 1724 by Cosmas Damian Asam and Egid Quirin Asam.

St. John of Capistran Church, Munich

Construction of the church of St. Johann of Capistran in Munich began in 1959 and it was consecrated in 1960. It was planned by Sep Ruf, who is also known as the architect of the German Kanzlerbungalow (1963-1966) in Bonn. Ruf combined ancient formal rigour, modern material authenticity and liturgical reform ideas into an impressive spatial unity.

Theatinerkirche

St. Kajetan Church in Munich, called Theatinerkirche, served as a monastery church of the order of Theatine. It was built from 1663 to 1690 on the model of the church of Sant'Andrea della Valle in Rome, dating back to the 16th century.
