The origins are uncertain, but the building dates back to the 10th century. The Cathedral bears the traces of several periods of modifications, such as the cloister and the bell tower of the 13th century, .
Building built at the end of the 19th century, facing the impossibility of welcoming new citizens. Very inspired by the Byzantine style.
The chapel was built in the 11th century, and it is known to house the chest containing the body of Saint Roseline, prioress of the abbey adjoining from 1300 to 1329, as well as a mosaic of the “Meal of the Angels” by Marc Chagall.
