Gjemnes Church
Inaugurated in 1893, Gjemnes Church is a typical long panelled church with towers to the west and choirs to the east. The church was built by Chr. Hovde of Kristiansund according to drawings by the architect J. W. Nordan. The interior is richly designed with beam structures and canvas decoration. The church was renovated in 1963, and the colour scheme was designed by Olav Halse. At the top of the raised middle walls there is a painted angel decoration.
