Naarden Church
The first church was built from 1380-1440. In 1468 it largely burned down.
About this building
After the fire, from 1468-1479 the church was rebuilt and enlarged. Between 1510 and 1518, the wooden barrel vaults were applied and painted.
In 1660 the steeple was placed with ball, cross and cockerel. The tower is owned by the municipality of Naarden and is 71 meters high and after 235 steps it offers a beautiful view of the fortress Naarden, the Gooi, Gooimeer, Flevoland and Amsterdam.
