Hadzi-Kurt Mosque (Tabačica)

The Hadzi-Kurt Mosque was built between the 16th and 17th centuries on the right bank of the Neretva River.

About this building

Its name comes due to the mosque being situated in the Tabhana, the district where leather was processed in Mostar. Most of the worshippers were therefore tanners who spent the day dying leather. There is a Turkish bath next to the mosque.
