The Hålandsdal church in Bjørnafjorden is a neo-Gothic wooden church built in 1890. The architect of the church is Karl Hansen Askeland.

The building history of the old church in Holdhus is not clear. There was probably a Stave church here which was rebuilt between 1722-26 to its present appearance. The church has undergone several alterations and the last major restoration was in 1905-1906. In the 1720s Christian W. Segelken bought the church and it remained in private ownership until 1876 when it was given as a gift to the congregation. In 1889 it was sold for demolition to the hotelier Hans Holdhus, who in turn sold it to the Association for the Preservation of Old Norwegian Monuments in 1900.
Strandebarm church is a long church built of wood in 1876. The architect for the church was Ole Vangberg. The modern church is the third to exist at Strandebarm. The first, which was a stave church, dated from 1306.
Strandvik Church is a long church from 1857. The architect of the church was Frederik Hannibal Stockfleth. The church was probably built just north of an older wooden church from 1628, which itself replaced a stave church from the Middle Ages.
