Maria Church
This plastered one-aisled church from the twelfth century was originally dedicated to Mary. The entrance portal from 1664 is very special: it is adorned with two lions and a vase from the broken stins Elgersmastate.
Nicolaas Church
The Nicolaaskerk in Schalsum is particularly special because of the color scheme in the interior. The color scheme of soft pink and soft yellow surprises many visitors. The church is a landmark in Schalsum.
