Holy Trinity Church

In 1806, Catholics and Protestants were put on an equal footing and the city's Catholic parish was founded. However, it was subject to strong state control. The castle church served as the parish church from 1829. In 1906, the Catholics were able to consecrate the Holy Trinity Church, which could be purchased because the present Friedenskirche had been built as a new garrison church.

Ludwigsburg Peace Church

The Ludwigsburg Peace Church was built by the Munich architect Friedrich von Thiersch between 1900 and 1903. The neo-baroque building is decorated with a fresco on the ceiling. The building was first used as a garrison church in 1903, but was renamed Peace Church after the Second World War. Today it serves as a multipurpose space for the spiritual, community and cultural life of the city of Ludwigsburg.

Stuttgart Cathedral

The cathedral church of St. Eberhard has been a cathedral only since 1978. Although the parish dates back to the 10th century, the present building was completed in 1955, the previous one having been destroyed during the Second World War.
