Høyland Church
Høyland Church is a large wooden church that was inaugurated in 1841. The church was designed by the engineer Arild Sibbern on the basis of Linstow's drawings. The interior is characterized by the Empire style, with galleries around the whole church on both sides of the choir, just interrupted by the pulpit. The altarpiece from the 1600s has been rebuilt with classical details and a large cross flanked by curved volutes.
