The convent church of San Pablo is one of the most famous buildings of the city of Valladolid. It was built between 1445 and 1616 in a Plateresque style and belongs to the order of the Dominicans.
The church of Santa María de La Antigua dates back to the 12th century, the Romanesque tower and portico on the north side, are testimony of this early structure. The rest was built later on (until the 20th century) in a Gothic and neo-Gothic style.
