Shree Ghanapathy Temple
The Shree Ghanapathy Temple in Wimbledon was founded in 1980 in a former Christian Presbyterian Church. It became in 1981 the first fully consecrated Hindu Temple in Europe.
Fazl Mosque
The Fazl Mosque, inaugurated in 1926 in the Southfields district, is London's first purpose-built mosque. It was the international headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Community from 1984 to 2019. It is recognised as a grade II listed building.
Buddhapadipa Temple
The Buddhapadipa Temple is a Thai Buddhist temple built in London in the 1980s. Inside the temple hall, the walls are covered with murals by the artists Chalermchai Kositpipat and Panya Vijinthanasarn in a surrealist style. In the hall, there is also a large shrine built for the Buddha. The property also includes a house, a pond and several bridges.
