The Sint-Janskerk is a small parish church in the centre of Hoensbroek , municipality of Heerlen . It is located in a small park between the Juliana-Bernhardlaan (formerly Heerbaan), the Hoofdstraat (until 1921 called Dorpsstraat) and the Markt. To distinguish them from the large Johannes Evangelistkerk on the other side , both churches are called respectively the small and the large Sint-Jan.
