Küçük Hasan Pasha Mosque
The Küçük Hasan Pasha Mosque dates from the second half of the 17th century. It was built in honour of the first Ottoman garrison of Chania. The mosque stopped functioning in 1923 and is now restored to become a venue.

The Etz Hayim (Zakynthiniote) Synagogue in Chania is a Romaniot synagogue from the 17th century, restored in 1999. This stone building still serves as a synagogue.
The Cathedral of the Assumption was built in 1879 a few years after the restoration of the diocese of Crete (1874). The church is under the responsibility of the order of the Capuchins.
Agios Nikolaos is an Orthodox church, ortinally built as a monastery church in the 14th century. During the Ottoman occupation of Crete, the church was transformed into a mosque. In 1928, it was transformed again into a church. It is the only church in Greece with both a bell tower and a minaret.
