The church of Lademoen is a long church dating from 1905. The church is built of stone and brick and has the second-largest interior in the city after Nidaros Cathedral. The church is built in Art Nouveau and New Romanesque style and was designed by the architect Ole E. Stein from Kristiania.

The church of Lade is a medieval church dating from 1189. The church is relatively well preserved, but the south wall was rebuilt in the 1600s, and then the south portal disappeared. The ship's entrance portal to the west is made of pebbles. The portal has a Gothic appearance, with free-standing columns and pillars, or capitals, decorated with foliage. The design is associated with the first half of the 13th century.
The Bakke Church is an octagonal church built in 1714-1715 by the architect J. C. Hempel. It was completed in 1715 and was originally called Anne Dorothea Church, after the wife of Bishop Peder Krog. The church has a baroque appearance with a high spire. As the only building in Bakklandet, the church was spared during the Swedish siege in 1718. Together with the Hospitalskirken, it is one of the few well-preserved buildings from the early 18th century in Trondheim, where fires and alterations have changed the rest of the town's character.
Strindheim church is a brick church that was built in 1979. The architect of the church is Elisabeth Breen Fidjestøl.
