Lillesand Church
The Lillesand church is located above the town. It was consecrated in 1887. It is a large, long and characteristic church with a tower that juts slightly into the west gable. The church is built in half-timbered panelling in the neo-Gothic and Swiss-style according to drawings by H. Thrap-Meyer. The builders were Ludvig Karlsen and his father Carl D. Svendsen. The church in Lillesand is very well preserved inside and out and has furniture from the time of its construction.
