Nedstryn Church

The Nedstryn church, inaugurated in 1859, replaced a 17th-century wooden church, which in turn replaced a medieval church. The church is a combination of the main forms of the drawings by Hans Linstow (1787-1851) and Christian Heinrich Grosch (1801-1865). In 1965 the church received two new extensions on each side of the porch.

Innvik Church

The Innvik church in Stryn, is an octagonal wooden church built in 1822 by Elling Waldboe.

Loen Church

The Loen church is an octagonal wooden church dating from 1838. The master-builder of the building was Elling Waldboe. He was probably inspired by the church in Innvik for the construction of this church. The church has changed little over the years and is therefore one of the churches that give the best impression of what Norwegian churches of this type were like in the first half of the 18th century.

Old Church of Olden

In 1746 the old Stave church in Olden was demolished and a new church was built. 11 years later, strong winds destroyed this church, which led to the construction of the present church, completed in 1759. Inside, the choir contains several portraits of priests from the 17th and 18th centuries. The late Baroque stone sculpture of the Madonna was donated to the church in the 1940s.
