The Geertekerk was built between 1248-1400, after the Reformation it was successively used as a Reformed church, stable, barracks, warehouse and from 1814 to 1930 again as a Reformed church. In a ruinous state at the end of the 1940s, the building was completely restored from 1954 to 1956.
The Synagogue in Utrecht is an Ashkenazi synagogue completed in 1884 by architect A. Nijland. This brick synagogue was rededicated in 2004.
The Synagogue in the godsdienstschool is an Ashkenazi synagogue from the 18th century. The synagogue was rebuilt in 1925-26 by architect H. Elte Phzn. In use between 1792 and 1981, this brick synagogue is now abandoned.
