Church of St. Nicholas

The Church of St. Nicholas is a splendid example of late Czech Gothic. It was built after a fire on 25 March 1517 on the site of the original church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross from the mid-13th century by the royal architect Benedikt Rejt. The church was completed in 1538.
