Church of Saint-Folquin, Cormette (Zudausques)

The Church of Saint-Folquin is attested to the 14th century. It was later reconstructed during the 16th century.

About this building

Among its architectural curiosities can be noted the rose-window over the porch, and above all the rare wall-belfry with an arcade , called a 'campenard', and built in the first years of the 17th century. The rounded arch vaults of the nave are separated from the side aisles by broken arch vaults supported by columns having facet-decorated capitals. Paintings of various periods, a contemporary wall-painting, sculptures and old tomb stones contribute to the interest of the interior.

Church of Saint-Maurice, Leulinghem

Church of Saint-Maurice is in the centre of the village, at the junction of five roads, and has two volumes of different heights. The lower one is the nave ; the other, higher and with no buttresses, with the air of a massive keep, has, in its lower level, a sanctuary which is perhaps Romanesque.

Church of Saint-Omer

The Church of Saint-Omer church is located in Setques, in the Hauts-de-France region. The Gothic style building reflects the high monuments after the wars of the sixteenth century. The flat chevet of the choir and the lower level of the tower date from the late sixteenth or early seventeenth century. In the 18th century, restorations were made, as the church was rebuilt in 1863, on the same foundations, but with buttresses.
