Church of Saint-Esprit, Crémarest
The Église Saint-Esprit of Crémarest is hidden in the folds of the countryside around Boulogne, and situated in the protected park of the Headlands and Marshes of the Opale Coast.
About this building
Its imposing fortified tower of white stone, probably dating from the 14th century,served as a refuge for the inhabitants in case of invasion, as we can see from the chimney in the room on the first floor of the tower.
