Welcome to the best of only four surviving medieval bridge chapels in the country. It has enjoyed a long and chequered history, and is truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Rotherham.

Christ Church is a splendid Victorian church, built in the decorated style in 1855, when the communities of Brampton and West Melton were growing fast with the expansion of coal mining. The church windows all have delicate and unique tracery and beautiful stained glass, by Whitefriars.
St Marie's Cathedral is situated on Norfolk Row, a quiet street just off Fargate, a busy shopping area in the centre of Sheffield. The Cathedral is easy to miss and almost seems hidden away, which gives you a clue to its origin.
Sheffield Cathedral is the oldest building in Sheffield still in daily use. Formerly the Parish Church of Sheffield, it was granted Cathedral status in 1914. however the history of Christianity on this site goes back over 1000 years.
