Bosanska Krupa City Mosque

The City Mosque of Bosanska Krupa (Gradska dzamija) is the main Muslim building in the town.

About this building

The mosque was severely damaged during the Second World War. There were several attempts to restore it. Finally, in 1965, the roof was reconstructed, the facades were repaired, and the building was fitted out for electricity and water supply. However, the mosque was once again attacked during the Bosnian War (1992-1995). The mosque and its minaret were rebuilt after the war in the same form as before.
