The church of Saint John the Prodrome in Margarites is a single nave building from the 14th century. Inside, traces of the original frescoes have been uncovered under the plaster.

The church of Saint Jonh the Theologian (Agios Ioannis Theologos) in Margarites is a single nave temple from the 14th century. The original building was larger than the one preserved today. On both sides of the church, the remains of three blind arches are still visible.
