Church of Our Lady of the Angels, Rethymno

The church of Our Lady of the Angels, also known as Mikri Panagia (Little Virgin) was built in Rethymno's Old Town during the Venetian period (1205–1669).

The church was converted into a mosque during Ottoman rule. In 1917 it was transformed again into a church.

Neratze Mosque

The Neratze Mosque, formerly the Santa Maria Church, was a monastery church converted into a mosque in 1657. Today, the building is a cultural centre for the municipality of Rethymno.
