The Basilica of St. Nicholas ( St. Nicholas Church ) is a Roman Catholic church in the city centre of Amsterdam . The church, officially called St. Nicholas within the Veste , was built in the period 1884-1887 to a design by the architect Adrianus Bleijs (1842-1912).
Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder is an old 17th century Catholic church-house converted into a museum in 1888.
The Fo Guang Shan He Hua Temple (FGS He Hua Temple) of the Fo Guang Shan is a Buddhist temple at Zeedijk numbers 108 to 116, Amsterdam Chinatown in Amsterdam.
The Oude Kerk, started in the 13th century, is the oldest existing building in Amsterdam. Until the Alteratie (1578) the church was Roman Catholic and was called the St. Nicholas Church. Since 2016, the Oude Kerk has been a museum for contemporary art.
