Holy Innocents

The church situated in an elevated position with superb views of Shropshire and is surrounded by mature beech and Spanish chestnut trees. On early spring days the churchyard is carpeted with snowdrops and then daffodils.

St Michael

Standing forlorn, with only a farm for company, St Michael's is a precious little building. Although restored in 1877 and built of a patchwork of greenstone and brick, the church is essentially Norman.

All Saints

The church has pride of place in this historic hilltop village, making a photogenic composition with the black and white houses around it. The chancel is believed to stand on Roman foundations, and the oldest visible parts of the building are early Norman.
