The Gol Stave Church dates back to around 1200. Since 1884 the church has been owned by the ruling monarch in Norway since Oscar II (1872 - 1907) moved it to its open-air museum. It has four copies, two in Norway and two in the United States. The church is now a part of the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History.

Bygdøy church is a concrete church built from 1968. It replaced the Bygdøy Chapel, which had burned down ten years earlier. The architect of the church was Finn Bryn, who also designed the pulpit and baptismal font. The altar is a work by Veslemøy Nystedt Stoltenberg from 1994.
The Frogner Church, which was consecrated in 1907, is a long granite and brick church. The church is close to the residential buildings of Bygdøy allé, and the main facade facing the street is interspersed with Norman-style granite. The tower is located next to the gabled facade. The church has an asymmetrical plan with a nave and gallery on one side only.
Skøyen church is a working church from 1989. The church was designed by Hille Melbye Architects. In the same building complex there is a kindergarten.
