It is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and sailors lost at sea.

About this building

It was built on the site of an old chapel, apparently erected in the 6th century. From 1130, "the pardon" of Notre-Dame de Coz-Ilis was one of the most frequented by Breton sailors.

Rectangular in shape, it has a single nave with a flat chevet and a small bell tower on the west wall. The chapel has many historical figures, including a gate dating from the sixteenth century and the coat of arms of the lords of the Park. Inside, there is also a Pieta, a virgin with a child, a Saint-Antoine or Saint-Maudez, an archangel Saint-Michel and two unidentified statues (all from the XVI-XVIIth century).
