Meaux Cathedral
This magnificent Gothic cathedral was built between 1175 and 1540, and its construction was punctuated by a lot of work, renovations due to interruptions in the work or even accidents during the construction. It is considered the sister of Notre Dame de Paris by its size and style.
About this building
An elongated building with an elongated plan, composed of five vessels and a nave shorter than the choir. Several stained-glass windows are noteworthy: the Crucifixion window (14th), the great West Rose window (15th), as well as the barley, dating from the 17th century.
