About this building
For centuries there was no interior to the church, and no furniture or font. People stood during the service. The empty space did have a different function. In times of calamity, such as floods, it was a refuge for humans and animals. The Protestant Congregation Baflo, of which Tinallinge is part, organizes a monthly service in the church. For the rest, the church is often empty, but it is open to visitors.
