Harkmark Church
The Harkmark church is a wooden church, probably built in 1613. The choir, which was originally narrower and lower than the ship, was enlarged in 1845 to become as wide as the ship. At the same time, the cross section was removed and the windows were enlarged. The church hall was also given new ceilings and the tower above the porch was erected. When the church was restored in 1972-75, under the direction of C.A. Christensen, the paint was removed from the walls and the painted hangings on the west wall under the organ loft were recreated.
