Eenrum Church
The church is mainly brick and was built in the 13th century and is known as Laurentius church. Of the original entrances only the southern one remains. Inside, white stucco melon vaults contrast with the dark brown furniture. The interior has survived the Beeldenstorm, thanks to pastor Louwe Fritema.
About this building
The 17th century brought major renovations: the large tower was completed in 1652 and larger windows were added that were replaced by late Romanesque windows in the 20th century. Today the church is part of the protected village view of Eenrum and it is located on the Pieterpad.
