The Langfjord church in Alta is a simple wooden church dating from 1891. The architects of the church are Tygen and D.G.Evjen.

Burfjord Church is a long church that was built as a prayer house for Laestadian Lutherans and converted into a church with a dedication on 5 July 2009. Laestadianism is a pietistic Lutheran revival movement that originated in northern Scandinavia in the mid-19th century.
Øksfjord church is a brick long church from 1954. The architect for the church was Hans Magnus, who in the following decades designed several other churches in northern Norway and on Svalbard.
Talvik Church, which was consecrated in 1883, is a long church with a tower above the porch, built according to the plans of engineer A. Tygen of Tromsø. The church is characterized by a neo-Gothic and Swiss style, and its design is closely related to the churches of the same period designed by the architect J. W. Nordan. After the Second World War, the church was used as a residence and bakery for returning evacuees.
