About this building
Around 1855, the factory council commissioned the architect Théberge to undertake the construction of a new church in neo-gothic style. It is a vessel with a facade with two towers (unfinished spires), projecting transept, ambulatory choir with axial chapel (never built). The work was carried out between 1863 and 1927. The church had been provided with a set of glass canopies signed Duhamel-Marette, destroyed by the bombings of 1944.
