Gratangen Church

The Gratangen church is a modernist church from 1971, built by the architect Oskar Norderval. The building has a low, flat roof, but two triangular, vertical concrete slabs rise up like a sail. Between the slabs hang the church bells.

Lavangen Church

The Lavangen church is a half-timbered church built by the builder O. Scheistrøen. It was consecrated in 1891 as a chapel in the parish of Ibestad, after which it was also attached to the parish of Salangen before it became its own parish.

Bjerkvik Church

The church in Bjerkvik is a long concrete and brick church whose construction began in 1952 and was consecrated on 14 August 1955. The architects of the church were Arnstein Arneberg and Per Solemslie. The previous church in Bjerkvik was lost in the night of 12-13 May 1940, when Bjerkvik was burnt down by the allied fleet.
