Tjeldsund Church

The Tjeldsund church is a wooden church built in 1901. The architect of the building is Ole Scheistrøen. The church is at least the 5th on this site, the oldest historical traces of a church in Tjeldsund date back to 1589.

Gausvik church

The Gausvik church was built of concrete and wood in 1979. Previously, a kindergarten was located on the lower floor of the church, but in 2008 it was moved to a new building adjacent to the Gausvik School.

Skånland Church is a wooden church that was built in 1901. The church has a long plan and was designed by the architect C.J.Bergstrøm. The first church in the town was built in 1867, but the population grew quite rapidly and by 1896 the church was too small for the parish.

Evenes Church

Evenes Church is a wooden church in the Danish manor house style inaugurated in 1800. Around 1250, Håkon Håkonsson built the first church on the spot. A new church was built on the site in 1677. Both churches were on the same site as the present church. The baptismal font of the present church comes from the first church on the site, dating from the 13th century.
