Harkmark Church

The Harkmark church is a wooden church, probably built in 1613. The choir, which was originally narrower and lower than the ship, was enlarged in 1845 to become as wide as the ship. At the same time, the cross section was removed and the windows were enlarged. The church hall was also given new ceilings and the tower above the porch was erected. When the church was restored in 1972-75, under the direction of C.A. Christensen, the paint was removed from the walls and the painted hangings on the west wall under the organ loft were recreated.

Holum Church

Holum Church is a wooden church built in 1825. Little is known about the church, the work of an unknown architect. The church has a cross plan and 480 seats.

Valle Church

The Valle church is cross-shaped and was built in 1793. At the end of the 1980s, the roof of the church was restored. It was restored inside for the 200th anniversary in 1993, among other things, the natural colour of the wooden walls was revealed. It is documented that there was a church on Valle in 1390. In 1577 Peder Claussøn Friis built a new church at the northern end of the present cemetery. It was called Peder Claussøn's church and was in use until 1792 when it was demolished.
